Promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership among South loop students
"Being a Beta member requires you to be a leader among many other things. You have to be helpful, you have to be confident enough to speak up, you have to be proactive. This is a big one! You have to be responsible for your actions and your words. That means setting a good example, getting good grades, and being active in Beta. Furthermore always attending meetings, coming to volunteer with the group, doing your monthly service hours, and being trustworthy. That might sound like a lot, but once you get into the routine we’re all one big family and end up having a lot of fun. "

- ACHIEVEMENT - Recognizing and honoring high academic achievement
- CHARACTER - Preparing students for life and empowering them to be successful
- LEADERSHIP - Developing the leaders of tomorrow
- SERVICE - Demonstrating our motto: Let Us Lead by Serving Others
